Visit to UIET @ Kurukshetra

I was invited by Mr Rahul Gupta of UIET to present Industry designs on Oct 19th.

I presented about what I do to M Tech students and B Tech students. While students and Mr Gupta was very passionate and enthusiastic, their course and existing knowledge was too obsolete. I shared two kits of PT60 controller from freescale with Aseem Bansal and one more student.

BPIT Orientation Day Talk - Few Pics

I was invited to speak to 1st year students of B Tech and MBA of BPIT, Rohini on Oct 8.2012. This is a IP University affiliated college. Here are few pics. Event started one hour behind schedule dur to late arrival of college management. Surendra Sharma, a famuos satirist who is also vice president of this college spoke about few things in his own style.

R-Pi and Scracth @ Nav Samaj Mandal - Vile Parle (E)

Nine students learned raspberry pi and scratch and then explained the product to over 500 teachers of various schools. Look at the energy levels and excitement. They were too happy at the role reversal even though it lasted for just 2 days.

Programming and Fun for kids using Rapberry Pi and Scratch

I have been using raspberry pi with scratch to teach kids about creativity and logic (well it is programming and some fun).

RaspberryPi and Children of Nithari - at Electronics Rocks 2012

I presented a talk at Nimhans Convention Centre, Bangalore on 30th August about Raspberry Pi and Children of Nithari. EFY will be uploading the video soon. In the mean time here is the copy of presentations. The presentation was to show how raspberry pi can create a possibility of fun and earning for these students. It was not just earning money but adding lot of fun, pride and confidence using latest technology and brand new computers....

Electronics Rocks 2012 @ Nimhans Convention Center, Banglore -

Electronics For You organised an event for electronics students and professionals at Bangalore "Electronics Rocks 2012" on Aug 30th and 31st.

I presented a 20 minute talk about how raspberry pi can be used by students to learn computers and programming. 


Apart from this I also participated in a one hour panel discussion about which  micro controller board is suitable for hobbyists. Other participants included persons from Freescale, Xilinx and Element14.
